About

I’ve been enjoying playing drums for over 40 years. I play in original bands Burnt Out Wreck and Plynth, and covers band Comin’ In Hot. I also offer drum lessons in and around Cambridge, as well as teaching drums at St. Andrew’s College, Cambridge.

I studied music at Keele University, and then drums at the DrumTech school in London with Francis Seriau, the founder of DrumTech. I have also attended master-classes with Ralph Salmins (Van Morrison), Dennis Chambers (Santana) and Steve Smith (Journey).

During the nineties I played in London-based original bands, notably with US singer/song-writer Eileen Rose and re-formed NWOBHM pioneers Angel Witch. I also played with atmospheric indie band Simpatico who wrote theme music for the BBC. In the noughties I then played 400 gigs all over the UK and abroad in tribute act Bon Giovi. I subsequently played with tributes Con Jovi, Bon Jovie, A Saucerful Of Floyd and Nighon Maiden.
